This spacious first floor property is ideally located just a short walk from the famous Isola Comacina, the only island on Lake Como which is situated in a picturesque setting just off the banks of the Western lakeshore.

‘Antica Isola Terrazzo’ offers spacious and light accommodation over 2 floors offering a well-appointed Open plan Living room elegantly furnished with a charming seating area, working fireplace, Dining area and gorgeous Lake views. Beautiful terracotta tiles feature on the floors throughout the property providing an authentic yet practical style of living.

A separate fully-fitted kitchen with wooden cabinets and Breakfast table leads off from the Living room and a sunny Terrace Balcony with breakfast table and Panoramic Lake views can also be enjoyed during the daytime and during evenings, when the sun sets romantically over the mountains beyond and you can unwind with a chilled glass of fine Italian wine.

The sleeping accommodation is extremely generous, providing a comfortable stay for upto 6 guests. The elegantly furnished Master Double Bedroom with Italian antique pieces enjoys a wonderful position in the property with Lake views and access out onto the panoramic view Terrace Balcony. A second Twin Bedroom with two single beds is also provided as well as a further chalet-style third Bedroom which is situated on the second floor in the Loft, providing a spacious layout with two single Beds

. ‘Antica Isola Terrazzo’ also offers 3 Bathrooms for you and your guests ensuring a pleasant and well-serviced stay.

If indeed your travelling party number more than 6 guests we are able to accommodate at an additional rental cost a further 4 guests in the ground floor property known as ‘Antica Isola Giardino’ (ID: 187 ) which is directly below this apartment and which also boasts direct Lake views and is decorated in a similar tasteful style.

Please Note: The garage provided is only able to accommodate one economic size car and larger cars will have to park in the public parking space outside the residence.

Due to its hillside location, we would like to mention that the house is 100m down stone steps from the main road. The location is very peaceful and is an ideal place for a very relaxing holiday.

The village of Sala Comacina offers a local Bar, Bank, recreational ground, a highly regarded waterside Restaurant and a romantic lakefront with views to Isola Comacina.

Enjoy exploring the cobbled streets and Church at a leisurely pace as well as a unique dining experience in the famous Restaurant on the Isola Comacina.

The views from the village lakeshore make for an idyllic setting and during the summer months it is popular for residents and visitors to swim and go boating in the clean Lake water.

During the long summer months there are many local festivals to take part in, including Gastronomical feasts, breathtaking firework and light displays and live music concerts.

Sala Comacina is ideally located along the accessible western shore in the desirable central part of Lake Como and enjoys easy access by car to the many visitor attractions, including Villa Balbianello in Lenno, Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo and the resort town of Menaggio. The eastern shore Resort towns of Bellagio and Varenna are also easily accessible, being just a 10 minute ferry ride away from the nearest Ferry port in Cadenabbia.

There are public transport links which consist of a Taxi Boat service and a regular Bus service to the towns of the North and South of the lake.

Service Charge

There is a service charge which is inclusive of bed linen, towels, electricity, gas, water & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis. The final property clean is offered free of charge.

Making a Booking

There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However,all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
